Why a plan is needed

The tracker sends data over a cellular network, and someone has to pay for that connection and the software that makes it useful. That is the service plan.

What plans usually cover

Data connection, mapping, alerts and history. Some include phone control features. Higher tiers may keep longer history or allow more vehicles.

Questions to ask

What features need the plan? What happens if I stop paying? Can I pause it? Are there contracts? How long is history kept? Can I share access with a family member?
