Remote Start for Push-Button Start and Smart-Key Vehicles by Nashville Car Alarm

Push-button start vehicles have an immobilizer that expects the smart key inside the car. A remote start has to satisfy that immobilizer safely, which usually means a data interface or bypass module programmed for your exact vehicle.

The result feels the same as any remote start: press a button, the engine runs. The difference is in the planning.

Why the interface matters

A smart-key vehicle will not run without the right handshake. The interface supplies a safe, temporary version of that handshake while the engine is remote started, and ends it the moment the brake is pressed or a door is opened with the key.

Digital Viper systems such as the DS3 and DS4 include an integrated, programmable CAN interface that helps with many modern vehicles.

Vehicle-specific checks

Some vehicles need a certain trim or option, some have features that block remote start while certain conditions are true. We check your vehicle before we quote anything.
