It happens: you walk away and realize a window is still down. A window control module closes compatible power windows from the remote when the vehicle is locked.
It is also useful in summer, when a quick close of the windows as a storm rolls in saves the interior.
What the module does
The module connects to the window circuits and a remote output. When you lock and hold, or press a dedicated button, it signals the windows to close. It can stop automatically if something is in the way, depending on the vehicle and installation.
Viper offers the 535T Window Control module for this purpose.
Vehicle-specific
Window wiring varies widely. Some vehicles already support roll-up from the key fob, and in that case we may not need a module at all.
