About the 5908V
The 5908V is built for drivers who want long reach, a clear answer from the car and real protection in one system. The color LCD remote talks back, so when you start, lock, unlock or arm from a distance you see the result on the screen instead of wondering.
Protection comes from impact sensing, starter interrupt, flashing parking lights, a six-tone siren and a panic and car-locator function, and the system accepts the VIPER SmartStart Pro module when you want phone control and GPS on top.
Range is quoted for ideal conditions; buildings, hills and radio noise shorten it, which is why the 2-way confirmation matters.
